Individual Therapy

“You need to be content with small steps. That’s all life is. Small steps that you take every day so when you look back down the road it all adds up and you know you covered some distance.”

I support individuals experiencing:

  • Anxiety, stress and overwhelm

  • Low mood or depression

  • Trauma, PTSD or complex trauma (CPTSD)

  • Low confidence, self-esteem or self-worth

  • Difficulties managing emotions, including anger

  • Neurodivergence (including ADHD and autism)

  • Executive functioning challenges (e.g. organisation, focus, follow-through)

  • Sensory sensitivities or overwhelm

  • Sleep difficulties

  • Workplace or education-related challenges

  • Grief and loss

  • Self-harm or suicidal thoughts

  • Feeling stuck, insecure or unsure how to move forward

If what you’re experiencing isn’t listed, you’re still very welcome to get in touch—we can explore whether this feels like the right fit for you.

How I Can Support You

I offer psychotherapeutic occupational therapy, which means we don’t just focus on symptoms—we explore how your experiences are affecting your ability to live your life.

My work is grounded in understanding:

  • Your thoughts, emotions and body responses

  • Your environment and daily demands

  • Your roles, routines and expectations

  • Your lived experiences and what has shaped you

Together, this helps us build a clearer picture of what’s happening and what may support change.

I integrate approaches such as ACT, EMDR, and somatic and sensory-informed work, adapting the process to you rather than applying a fixed model.

My Approach

Sessions are collaborative and paced in a way that feels manageable.

Together, we will:

  • Build an understanding of your patterns and experiences

  • Explore how your internal world and external environment interact

  • Reconnect with what matters to you

  • Develop practical, sustainable ways of moving forward

This may include both reflective work and practical strategies that support your day-to-day life.

EMDR Therapy

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing) is one of the approaches I may use within therapy, particularly when working with trauma or distressing experiences.

It supports the brain to process and integrate difficult memories, reducing their emotional intensity and impact.

Who I Work With

  • Psychotherapeutic Occupational Therapy: Age 14+

  • EMDR Therapy: Age 18+

  • Parent / family support available for children of any age

  • Post Neurodivergent Diagnosis Support - Over the age of 14 for 1:1, but the child can be any age if the support is being offered to parents/family.
